Knowing More About Vaping and How to Properly Do It
E-cigarettes are words that are interchangeable with Vape. The device is now being used widely as an alternative to smoking traditional tobacco cigarettes which have been around for a long time and has been linked with a lot of diseases. Vape are devices that use propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin and food coloring. These devices have the option putting nicotine in the juices, depending on the preferences of the E-cigarettes user. E-Cigarettes weren’t introduced until 2006, three years after it was created by a Chinese pharmacist named Hon Lik. Since its introduction, Vaping has become ever more popular to people most especially to younger smokers who have become more health conscious about regular tobacco smoke. The E-cigarette industry has greatly expanded ever since the its early beginnings and now there are a multitude of companies and businesses selling component parts and e-juices. There is now a huge variety of E-cigarette types that one can pick from the many companies that manufacture them. A lot of E-cigarettes right now are modifiable and depending on the degree of customization the users want, these mods can result into different smoking experiences to the user. Even though there are many different kinds of E-cigarettes available right now, functionally, these devices still operate on the same principle. E-cigarettes or personal vaporizers fundamentally require an energy source which are often in the form of rechargeable lithium ion batteries and a wire coil that will heat up to create the vape smoke. To draw in the e-liquid or juice to the coil, a wick is used for such purpose. There are a number of components that you as a user should be aware of.
Batteries are the most important part of the vape. The device will require the right amount of voltage and amplitude for it to work properly. Some E-cigarettes do not allow replacement of the internal battery but there are others that do. Often those that allow replacement on batteries are for more experienced vape users since these often causes malfunctions to the device that can sometimes be dangerous. Another compnent that the user should be familiar with are the coils. This spring looking part are the ones that cause heating up of the liquids turning them into inhalable vapor. The one that determines the electricity needed is the resistance. These coils are made from Kanthal and Nichrome which are considered safe for human use. The juice or e-liquid are made from vegetable glycerin, food coloring, propylene glycol and sometimes nicotine.
These liquids can vary in their PG/VG ratio and nicotine amount.
Those who switch from tobacco usually start from a higher content of nicotine in the juice.
Overtime, the nicotine content can be decreased as they suit. Heavy smokers typically start as high as 24mg/ml but often they can switch to lower dosages to 12mg/ml. It is recommended by most experts, however, that one should use only those below 18mg/ml.
For beginners, the best device to use are low output regulated ones that have integrated internal batteries. More complex devices are often better but for those who are still new to Vaping, this might be the most appropriate to have.
