I have been dealing with severe anxiety and severe panic disorders since a traumatic experience in my life since the age of 16 @ that time I was prescribed Xanax which I did not want to get addicted to so after 3months I tossed them.....then the severity hit me again at age 30 due to more traumatic events I could no longer control and that is when I started taking Klonopin on a regular basis for the last 6yrs and it is more like the miracle drug for the severity of my condition....I would definitely recommend Klonopin over Xanax anytime .....thanks Doc I could not ask for a better understanding of the different meds if it wasn't for having one of the best Doctors in the U.S. "signed the most difficult patient probably in all his patients "
I am diagnosed with Major Recurrent Depression and Anxiety/Panic Disorder with Agoraphobia. Following a hospitalization, I had been prescribed Zoloft 100 mg and Valium 5 mg x 3 per day. This combo worked great for 3 years!! Then at a recent doctor's appointment for med review, it was suggested I try Klonopin .5 mg x 2 per day. What a disaster!! I would experience anxiety daily in the afternoon and headaches. The only change to my daily regimen was the Klonopin. I know everyone has different reactions to medication but I was more than glad to return the unused portion of Klonopin back to my physician and get my Valium back.
I have Used Klonopin Faithfully for 8Years; I Am Very Calm and Forever Grateful for this Drug!! I Can Even Drive More without Feeling Nervous and Shaking Terribly. I take 5mg since Day 1 and have never had to Increase My Dosage. Thanks 4 Giving Me my Life Back No Anxiety At All :-)
