They’re a great on-the-go way to support your metabolism and stick to the Fast Metabolism plan. The Phase 1 shake can be used on the two days of Phase 1 on Haylie’s Fast Metabolism Diet. During this phase, we use targeted nutrition and easy-to-assess carbohydrates to reduce stress, support the adrenal glands, and flood the body with micronutrients and electrolytes. If you aren’t currently doing The Fast Metabolism Diet, the Phase 1 Shake is great as a pre- or post-workout shake, with 21 grams of protein and 5 grams of iron. It also contains electrolytes to help replace nutrients lose during exercise. The Fast Metabolism Diet Phase 1 Shake is slightly sweet, with a mild vanilla flavor. You can easily customize the flavor by adding cacao (for a chocolate flavor), ground cinnamon, and vanilla or almond extract. You can also add fresh lemon or lime zest or juice for a bright, citrus taste. Directions: Mix 2 level scoops into 8-12 ounces of chilled spring water. Add ice if desired. Blend or shake in a blender bottle until combined. Tub includes 14 servings.
